Single Leg Standing Calf Raises

Single leg standing calf raises work both the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles through a full range of motion. This exercise works through the full range of motion allowed by the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles.

How to do :

following these tips and tricks
  1. Stand upright on one leg, with the other leg bent at the knee and off the ground.
  2. Place your hands on a wall or hold onto a stable surface for support if needed.
  3. Raise your heel off the ground as high as possible, standing on the ball of your foot.
  4. Pause briefly at the top to feel the contraction in your calf muscle.
  5. Slowly lower your heel back to the ground and repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching legs.
